It’s been a good summer for fans of the Fantasy Comic Book series Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman.
Last week, there was a release of Sandman: Act II, a continuation of audio adaptation. However, Netflix has something far more ambitious in work with the Sandman Live-Action series. During the Online Tudum event, streaming services debuted the first clip of the series, which featured Tom Sturridge as Dream / Morpheus.
In the series mythology, Morpheus is one of the seven endless brothers who realize the concept of universal dreams, destiny, death, destruction, desire, despair, and delirium. Logan Co-Star Boyd Holbrook will appear as Corinthian, a nightmare in human form that has escaped from a dream. Fortunately, many dream allies remained in his kingdom, including librarians, Lucienne (Vivienne Acheampong), and Matthew (Patton Oswalt), a crow messenger who was a man. The adequate brothers, cloth (Sanjeev Bhaskar) and Abel (Asima Chaudhry) are also a dream servant in that dream.
Others got alum, Gwendoline Christie, together with Lucifer, the ruler of hell, who also has a grudge against dreams. Former doctor who starred in Jenna Coleman will describe Johanna Constantine, a wizard who is a famous relative, John Constantine, recently wrapped multiseason’s eyes on DC legend tomorrow. Finally, David Thewlis (who plays Ares on the Wonder Woman and the two Justice League films will appear as John Dee, a supervillain known as Destiny doctor who has confiscated Dreamstone’s dream and selfishly using his strength to torture others.
Gaiman is an executive producer with Allan Heinberg and David S. Goyer, both of which have previous comic book experiences under their belts.
