Apple marked the unveiling of the new “family” iPhone 13 in a virtual event where it is expected that it will also make known news regarding the Apple Watch and iPad Mini. The Cupertino giant has yet to reveal the line of smartphones, but there are already rumors about the successor to the iPhone 13, as well as renderings that give an account of its possible appearance.

According to information advanced by the well-known “informant” Jon Prosser, Apple can forget about the notch, the space at the top of the screen for the camera and sensors, opting for a punch hole, that is, a small hole for the camera lens, for iPhone 14. Apparently, the Face ID system’s biometric sensor will be placed under the screen.

The rumors are in line with predictions previously advanced by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In June, the expert indicated that in 2022, Apple could launch four models, two entry-level and two high-end, both with screen sizes of 6.1 and 6.7 inches.

The analyst pointed out that the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have the lowest price ever for a 6.7-inch model, suggesting a value below $900. On the other hand, it is mentioned that the iPhone 14 line would not receive the 5.4-inch mini model, due to its lack of demand, having registered low sales.

While it is believed that the iPhone 13 could arrive without physical buttons, Jon Prosser points out that there is a possibility that the next model will bring back the circular volume buttons. Also featured is a titanium frame around the rig and Lightning charging support.

Apple may make changes to the structure where the rear cameras are located, choosing a flatter option. However, the decision will make the iPhone 14’s thickness increase to accommodate the cameras inside.

Remember that the next Apple Event, which will take place on September 14, has the title “California Streaming” and can be followed from the apple company website, as well as from its YouTube channel or the Apple TV application.

The new iPhone 13 “family” is expected to be one of the focal points of Apple’s new event. The presentation of the new line of smartphones from Apple may also be accompanied by the unveiling of the new Apple Watch Series 7, as well as the AirPods 3 earphones and even a new iPad Mini. Apple is also expected to announce the official release of new versions of its operating systems, including iOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15.
