What would you guys say is the best tablet when it comes to drawing and doing any other kinds of artwork? I want to get myself a new tablet, maybe an Samsung something. I have never been much of a fan of the iPad or Apple in general, so I don’t think I’d ever go with the iPad.

For artists, iPad Pro still remains the best choice for its performance. It is one of the best portable drawing tablets out there in the market. True, not many prefer iPad for reasons better known to them. Samsung Galaxy Tab A with an S- pen is equally good and gives you value for money. It is a great hit with budding illustrators. It has a decent inbuilt storage and a good resolution which is an added advantage. A pocket friendly device with a powerful processor, it certainly is a good buy.

Microsoft’s Surface Book 3 is absolutely amazing for drawing and graphical works. It can function as a laptop as well. You can connect it with a keyboard or detach it to be used as a Tab. It has 10 Point Multi-Touch and i5 and i7 variants. The Surface Pen they provide with this is good for drawing and to work in the touch screen.

Apple iPad 10 would be a good choice. It supports 4K and has good screen resolution with retina display. It supports Apple Pencil which is great for drawing, doodling and for taking notes. Its battery life is also good could work on it for a whole day. Has the latest A12 Bionic chip.

No doubt, the surface book 3 is the best for drawing. If you can afford it, buy it.

I like using the iPad Pro. A little expensive. But a quality product.

XP-Pen Artist 15.6 pen display is a perfect starter tablet, or a good choice for anyone who wants an affordable upgrade.

I would suggest iPad Pro for your professional artwork and drawings. For hobbyist, any decent tabs with a pen would still be great and economical.
