One monitor or multiple?
-
Do you guys use just one monitor? Or do you like to add multiple monitors to your setup? I currently have two monitors that I use, mostly for work. But I am thinking of installing a TV close to my PC and I might use that as a third screen.
What is your preference?

Well, there is no doubt that multiple monitor connectivity is an advantage but I sill prefer single screen to prevent distraction and to maintain focus.

I use three monitor in my trade station. It’s helpful for me to follow through all the stocks i follow, one screen is dedicated for index, one for commodities and one for the stocks in my portfolio. It gives me a good view of the market and helps me to execute better trades.

I have seen multiple monitor setup and that’s so great to see but personally I prefer a single monitor.

I prefer using multiple computers to keep my work on track.

I have a 34” ultra wide LG monitor, it’s awesome. Can use multiple screen and do multiple work with this monitor. Considering my usage, this is more than enough.

First i used 3 Monitors for trading, after upgrading to 38” screen, i found it very functional, it saves a lot of space. The resolution and clarity is off the charts. It’s energy efficient compared to running my previous 3 screens.

Please don’t use TV as monitor, the resolution of TV is very low compared to monitor and their emission rates are off the charts. Viewing TV so close would seriously damage your eye. Monitors are designed with low light emission so that we can work at close angles. Have a good monitor, they are definitely worth the cost.

Multiple monitor setup is the best. Our workflow tend to get easier. We can focus more without any distractions.
