Is it just me or your iPhone charger also does not last long?

Yeah, it’s the wires they use – the metal threads are so thin they just break after a while

One reason the chargers might be failing is bad power from the outlet.

If your AC lines provide too much power it might burn the chargers out.

The best thing you can do to keep the cables from wearing out is to not use the phone while it’s charging

Were all the cables used authentic Apple products? The quality of the cables also effects the charging time.

If you roll or bend the cable, it might break. Try not to bend it. Some people use to roll their cable when they keep it in the bag, it seriously deteriorates the cables life.

It actually depends on how often you charge in a day and how you maintain it. The cable wire shouldn’t be rolled and kept.

Not only Apple, most of the mobiles charging cables are less reliable now. May be they wan’t us to buy them often.

If you keep the charging wire around the adaptor, then the life of it would be very less. Do not twist the wire.
