Just thinking aloud! Why is the ionosphere the ideal space for radio communication?

Hi Ionosphere is very crucial for radio communication, because it acts as a reflector. When they project the signal to the ionosphere it gets reflected back to the earth. Thereby, it acts as a virtual reflector antenna in the sky, that too is virtually free and covers the entire world. And we can receive the reflected signal through our Radio Antenna.

Without Ionosphere all the signals would be lost into space, it reflects the signal back to earth. Ionosphere is one of the protective layers to earth. It stops signals, waves from deep space.
